VITAMIN A

Vitamin A is an essential vitamin used for growing and repairing body tissues, resisting infection, and developing healthy eyes. Deficiency in Vitamin A can cause symptoms of night blindness, dry eyes, dry, rough skin, impaired bone growth, and susceptibility to respiratory infections.

VITAMIN E

Vitamin E is required for the proper function of many organs in the body. Research suggests it plays a role in protecting the heart as well as improving neurological function. And as an antioxidant it fights cancer-causing "free-radicals" (unstable substances that damage cells).

VITAMIN K

Vitamin K is an essential vitamin that plays an important role in blood clotting. If you don’t have enough vitamin K, you may bleed too much. Some studies suggest that vitamin K helps maintain strong bones and reduces risk of diabetes in the elderly

MAGNESIUM

Magnesium is very important in the body because it helps in the activation of the enzymes used to burn excess fat and move your muscles. The body also uses it to create RNA, DNA, and certain amino acids (building blocks for the body).

POTASSIUM

Potassium has a number of roles in metabolism and body functions and is essential for the proper function of all cells, tissues and organs. It exists primarily in intracellular fluids (liquids within the cell). Potassium stimulates nerve impulses and muscle contractions and is important for the maintenance of blood pressure.

CAROTENOIDS

Carotenoids (like beta-carotine, alpha-carotine, and lutein) are powerful anti-oxidants that protect the body from unstable substances called free-radicals. Research shows that a diet rich in carotenoids lowers death rates from chronic illnesses like heart disease and cancer.

PHYTOSTEROLS

Studies and clinical trials have shown phytosterols to block cholesterol absorption, thus leading to lower cholesterol levels. Beta-sitosterol (the most common sterol in avocado oil) has been linked to numerous health benefits such as decreased LDL cholesterol, reduced risk of hardened arteries, and benefit in fighting colon and breast cancers.

ZINC

All adults require an average of 15 mg of zinc per day. It is a very important trace element and essential for many biological factors. Zinc is needed for growth, your immune system, and sexual development. Zinc is a cofactor in more than 90 enzymes. Zinc is considered an antibacterial in prostatic fluid and contributes to the prevention of chronic bacterial prostate and urinary tract infections.
